Soccer holds on to defeat Greensboro College on road

Greensboro, NC-The Salem College soccer team won their third game in a row with a 3-2 victory at Greensboro College. Tarryn Bundy scored the eventual game-winning goal in the 77th minute off Nataly Mojica corner-kick. Salem improves to 4-1 overall, while Greensboro falls to 2-3. 

Salem jumped out to a lead in the first half on a goal by Tarryn Johnson with an assist by Jasmine Romero in the 17th minute. Greensboro scored an equalizer in the 29th minute and it was 1-1 at the break. 

The Spirits picked up their play in the second half, and it finally paid off in the 72nd minute when Brooke Bukas scored off a pass by Sawyer Ferguson. Bundy scored 5 minutes later to give Salem a 3-1 advantage. Greensboro tried to mount a comeback and scored in the 82nd minute.

Salem hits the road again on Tuesday to take on Barton.
