Winston-Salem, NC-The Salem College volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 (25-9, 25-10, 25-13) win against cross-town rival Piedmont International on senior night. Salem swept PIU in two matches this season. The Spirits celebrated Amber Bass, Zykeya Henderson, Roslyn Nixon, and Chanice Williams before the match. Salem improves to 9-12 with the win.

Henderson finished with a match-high 15 digs. Nixon finished with a match-high 11 kills and a very impressive kill percentage of .733. Williams had 3 kills and Bass had 2 digs and a kill. 

Kylie Taffer added 9 kills and a solo block. Taffer and Hillary McPhatter each had 5 service aces. Taylor Rhodes led Salem with 23 set assists.

The Spirits play their last regular season match on Saturday against Guilford.
