Winston-Salem, NC-Head Coach Kevin Troup has released the 2015 Salem College volleyball schedule. Troup enters his first year as the head coach for the Spirits. The team are coming off of a 12-14 overall record. The 2015 season will be the final season for Salem in the Great South Athletic Conference (GSAC) as they will enter USA South competition in 2016.
Salem opens play at the Eastern Mennonite Invitational in Virginia on September 4th and 5th. They will play the hosts in their first match on the 4th at 3:00. The first home match for the Spirits is on September 9th at 7:00 against Greensboro College.
The following weekend, Salem will begin GSAC play. They will look to repeat as regular season and tournament champions. The Spirits will play at Wesleyan in Georgia on the 18th and at Agnes Scott on the 19th. The senior game will be played on October 24th at home against Agnes Scott.
The GSAC Tournament will be hosted by Agnes Scott in Decatur, GA this year from November 7th through 9th. Click here for the full schedule.
