Winston-Salem, NC-The Salem College volleyball team fell to Meredith in three sets (18-25, 16-25, 20-25). Kylie Taffer led the Spirits with 9 kills and a .304 kill percentage. Salem falls to 1-5, while Meredith improves to 5-5.
Mariah Sharon added 5 kills and Julissa Almonte had 4 kills. Brandy Bednorz led the team with 19 set assists. Sharon led the Spirits with 9 digs and 3 service aces.
The Spirits head to Georgia this weekend for their first Great South play of the season. They play Wesleyan on Friday and Agnes Scott on Saturday.
