Volleyball drops match at Methodist

Fayetteville, NC-For the second straight night, a comeback by the Salem College volleyball team came up just short. The Spirits fell 3-1 (13-25, 22-25, 25-22, 9-25) against Methodist. Salem falls to 2-10, while the Monarchs improve to 12-6.

Brandy Bednorz had her second strong match in a row. She finished with 32 set assists, 1 service ace, and 12 digs. Mariah Sharon led the team with 14 kills and Kylie Taffer had 13 kills. Taffer had 2 block assists, while Bernisha Master had a solo block and a block assist. Julissa Almonte added 9 digs for Salem. 

The Spirits will return home to play Huntingdon on Sunday.
