Mariah is entering her Junior season as a Spirit. She is a Biochemistry major. Mariah was voted MVP for her high school team for three seasons (2011, 2012, 2013), and awarded All Conference Team her senior year. She received academic recognition for maintaining a 3.0 GPA or higher during her high school athletic career, and was awarded Salem Defensive MVP in 2016. Mariah's hometown is Smithfield, VA where her parents Chuck and Zeny Sharon reside. Mariah has three siblings: Chuckie, Brittany, and Tyler.
