Winston-Salem, NC-The Salem College volleyball team has released their 2016 schedule, which will be their first season in the USA South Athletic Conference. The Spirits have twenty-seven matches slated for this season, including ten at home, eleven on the road, and six at neutral sites.
"We look forward to competing in our first year with the USA South Atlantic Conference," said Head Coach Kevin Troup. "Our schedule is tough, so I look forward to seeing how the team rises to the challenge and the level of competition we will face."
The Spirits begin play at the Eastern Mennonite Invitational where they will play the hosts from EMU in their first match on September 2nd at 5:00. They will also play Lynchburg, Goucher, and Bridgewater that weekend at EMU.
The Spirits host their first match on September 8th against Guilford at 7:00. USA South action begins on September 20th at Greensboro.
