Volleyball picks up road win at Randolph

Lynchburg, VA-The Salem College volleyball team is continuing one of its best starts in program history as they defeated Randolph College last night on the road in three sets. The Spirits fought hard to take the first two sets, including a major comeback in set two and then cruised in the third set for the 3-0 win (30-28, 26-24, 25-19). The Spirits are 3-2 overall, while Randolph drops to 1-4.

Kylie Taffer had strong match leading the team with 15 kills, while she added 8 digs. Mariah Sharon led the team with 24 kills, and Taylor Moulton was second in both kills (8) and digs (13). Hannah Delcamp had an impressive 31 set assists, and Bernisha Master let the team with 2 solo blocks and 3 block assists.

The Spirits host their first home match of the season tonight against Guilford at 7:00.
