Volleyball dominates Hollins on the road

Roanoke, NC- The Salem College volleyball team picked up a non-conference road win at Hollins University last night. The Spirits won easily in a three set match (25-18, 25-23, 25-11). Salem improves to 5-8 overall, while Hollins drops to 2-11. 

Kylie Taffer had a strong night with 12 kills and 9 digs. Bernisha Master led the team with a .727 kill percentage and had 8 kills. Mariah Sharon was strong defensively leading the team with 22 digs. Hannah Delcamp set up 34 assists, and Madelyn Chappell and Taylor Moulton each has 7 kills. Delcamp led the team with 5 service aces, while Rachael Kerr led the team with 5 blocks.

The Spirits return to action this weekend in two important USA South quad matches at NC Wesleyan on Friday and Meredith on Saturday.
