Volleyball drops USA South match against Piedmont

Winston-Salem, NC-The Salem College volleyball dropped a USA South home match against Piedmont College tonight. Piedmont won 3-0 (25-23, 25-13, 25-19). The Lions were able to use the momentum from a close first set to win the match in three sets. Salem falls to 7-15 overall, while Piedmont improves to 13-10.

Salem was led by Bernisha Master with 7 kills. Ashlen Rector led the team with 7 digs, while Hannah Delcamp had 18 set assists. Kylie Taffer added 5 kills, while Mariah Sharon had 5 digs.

The Spirits hit the road this weekend for three matches. They will play an important USA South match at Agnes Scott on Friday and another at LaGrange on Saturday.
