Volleyball eases to USA South win against Wesleyan

Winston-Salem, NC-The Salem College volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 (25-6, 25-10, 25-6) win against Wesleyan in USA South action. The win moves Salem closer to a spot in the USA South playoffs with two USA South matches remaining. Salem is now 10-16 overall and 3-10 in the USA South, while Wesleyan drops to 0-18 and 0-12. 

Salem was led by Kylie Taffer with 12 kills. Rachael Kerr had a great match with 7 kills off of 7 total attempts. Taylor Moulton and Madelyn Chappell each had 6 kills, while Moulton led the team with 3 digs. Mariah Sharon had a very strong 9 service aces, and Moulton had 4. Hannah Delcamp led the team with 32 set assists. 

Salem returns to action this weekend with a home non-conference match with Randolph at noon. The Spirits defeated Randolph 3-0 on September 7th.
