Volleyball picks up huge win to qualify for USA South Tournament

Winston-Salem, NC-The Salem College volleyball team picked up their most important win of the season with a 3-0 (25-16, 25-16, 25-19) win against Huntingdon at home. The win moves Salem into 6th overall in the USA South West Division standings and gives the team a spot in the USA South Tournament. Salem improved to 11-18 overall and 4-11 in the USA South as they wrap up their regular season play. Huntingdon fell to 11-22 and 5-10. 

Salem will now play Piedmont in the first round of tournament play on November 1st at 5:00 at Maryville. The winner of that match will play Maryville at 7:30 for a spot in the USA South semifinals. 

Taylor Moulton led the Spirits with 12 kills and 11 digs. Hannah Delcamp had 31 set assists and 3 service aces to lead the team. Rachael Kerr and Bernisha Master each had 3 blocks.
