Volleyball splits final day of regular season play

Raleigh, NC-The Salem College volleyball team split their final day of the regular season in Raleigh. Salem defeated Greensboro 3-2 (25-15, 20-25, 21-25, 25-22, 15-11), before falling to the host of William Peace 3-1 (25-21, 16-25, 15-25, 19-25). The Spirits end the regular season with a 21-11 overall record and 10-6 in the USA South East Division.

Against Greensboro, Taylor Moulton led the team with 12 kills and Kylie Taffer had 10 kills. Hannah Delcamp had 20 set assists and Lauren Holman had 17. Moulton led the team with 16 digs, and Kathryn O'Connell had 5 block assists.

In the Peace match, both Moulton and Taffer had 8 kills. Holman led the team with 10 set assists and Delcamp had a team-high 14 digs. 

The Spirits will play in the first round of the USA South Tournament on Tuesday.
