Volleyball's record breaking season ends in USA Tournament

Danville, VA-The Salem College volleyball team's record breaking season ended last night in the first round of the USA South Tournament against Methodist. Methodist won the match 3-0 (23-25, 15-25, 19-25). The match was played at Averett University, and Averett eventually advanced to the USA South semifinals with a win over Methodist later in the evening. Salem finishes the season with the most wins in school history and a 21-12 overall record.

Madelyn Chappell let the Spirits with 7 kills. Hannah Delcamp had a team-high 17 set assists and Lauren Holman added 12 set assists. Maggie Hawks led the Spirits with 12 digs and 2 service aces. Kathryn O'Connell led the team with 3 solo blocks.
