WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Salem women's volleyball team hosted the Monarchs of Methodist University last night and added to their winning streak with a 3-0 sweep. This match was originally scheduled for September 19th. The Spirits are now 5-1 in conference play.

The Spirts set the tone in the first set with an 8-0 run to start. Continuing to build on the night, the Spirits offense was led by Taylor Moulton, Madelyn Chappell, and Cameron Sloop. Each tallied 14, 13 and 7 kills respectively on the night. The team totaled 51 kills to bring the night's overall hitting percentage to a season high of .339.
