Salem Comes Up Short Against Avenging Angels

RALEIGH, N.C. - The Salem women's volleyball team traveled to Meredith College last night. The Spirits fell to the Avenging Angels 3-0. Salem is now 6-2 in conference play.

A double-double from rookie Dixie Fulk (10 digs, 15 assists) along with Madelyn Chappell and Brooklyn Snow's offensive presence not enough to lead the Spirits to a win over the Avenging Angels. Chappell had 12 kills on the night to lead the team and Snow close behind with 7. Hannah Delcamp was just three digs away from another double-double on the season with 22 assists. Sophomore, Maggie Hawks held down the defense with 20 digs during the three-set match.
