Greensboro, NC-The Salem College cross country team finished in 8th out of 9 teams, and 3rd out of four NCAA Division III teams at the Guilford 5K Invitational. Cristi Magracia (Lemon Grove, CA) was the top finisher for the Spirits in a time of 23:09. She finished the meet, which included several NCAA Division 1 schools, in 16th overall.

Bethany Eaton (State Road, NC) finished in 36th for Salem in a time of 25:57. The third Spirit across the line was Tali Schroeder (Lexington, VA) in a time of 27:24.

Salem returns to action next weekend when they run at the Lenoir Rhyne Invitational in Hickory.
