Cross Country:
This Week:

The Salem College cross country team will head to the Christopher Newport 6K XC Invite in Newport News, VA. The race will be held at noon at the Lee Hall Mansion race site. Salem will compete against mainly NCAA DIII teams for the first time this season. Last Week:
The Spirits finished in 3rd of 4 teams last week at the Wilbur Ross 5K hosted by Winston-Salem State University. Natali Olveda (Salinas, CA) continued her strong season by finishing 7th overall in the race. Cristi Magracia (Lemon Grove, CA) was the next Spirit across the line in

10th overall.

Soccer:
This Week:
Soccer hosts 2 important Great South matches this week. They host Spelman 

on the 13th at 2:00 and Covenant on the 16th at 4:00. These 2 games are key to the Spirits regular season conference finish and tournament seeding.

Last Week:

Salem went 4-0 in soccer last week and 2-0 in the Great South to improve to 10-3 overall and 4-1 in the GSAC. Stephanie Hubbard (Sanford, NC) earned Great South Soccer Player of the Week Honors for her 2 goals and 1 assist this week.

Volleyball:
This Week:

Volleyball hits the road this week as they take on Huntingdon and Tuskegee in a tri-match in Alabama on the 13th. The Spirits are trying to split the season series with Huntingdon, who defeated Salem in Winston-Salem 3-1. This will be the 1st time the Spirits have ever played Tuskegee.

Last Week:

The Spirits went 1-1 last week at home. They swept the season series with Allen University by beating them 3-0. They dropped a 3-0 match to Guilford in the 2nd match of the day. Roslyn Nixon (Wilson, NC) is currently 4th in the GSAC in hitting percentage and 5th in total kills.
