Wilson, NC-The Salem College cross country team finished second of three NCAA Division III programs at the Barton Invitational this weekend. Cristi Magracia had her best meet of the year and was the top finisher for the Spirits. Salem finished in eleventh overall in the meet. 

Magracia finished in 40th overall in 22:46.95 on the 5K course. Audrey Wierda was the next Spirit runner across the line in 50th place (23:24.55). Amanda Johnson was Salem's third finisher and 56th overall (24:49.54). Tali Schroeder and Elizabeth Penley finished in 74th and 75th to round out the top five runners from Salem.

Salem will run at the Adidas XC Invitational in Greensboro this Friday.
