Raleigh, NC-The Salem College basketball team picked up a 70-69 road USA South East Division win at Meredith. Tyler Davenport led the Spirits with a double-double of 26 points and 11 rebounds. Salem finished regular season conference play with an 8-8 record and 10-14 overall record, while Meredith finishes at 6-19 and 6-10.

The Spirits earned the fifth seed in the USA South East Division and will play at NC Wesleyan on Wednesday in the first-round. The two teams split their regular season games with each winning on the home court of their opponent.

Mikayla Seivers added 19 points and a team-high 6 assists. Hannah McBride led the Spirits with 4 steals.
