Winston-Salem, NC-The Salem College lacrosse team lost 20-4 to Chatham today at home. Collette Vladimery scored a hat trick for Salem. Salem is now 0-7, while Chatham improves to 1-1.

Chatham started fast and took a 15-1 lead at the half. The Spirits played a much stronger second half as they scored 3 goals and only allowed Chatham to score 5 goals.

Logan Bowling scored a goal and had an assist for Salem. Hannah Ostlund had 8 saves in net. Ostlund also led the team with 2 ground balls and 3 caused turnovers. Salem was 10 for 17 on clears. Chatham held a 31-19 shot advantage.

The Spirits will host Sweet Briar on Wednesday at 4:00.
