Lacrosse Loses on the Road at Greensboro

Greensboro, NC-The Salem College lacrosse team lost 21-3 on the road to Greensboro College in USA South play. Three different players scored for the Spirits. Salem is now 2-11 overall and 1-5 in the USA South, while the Pride improve to 8-6 and 6-2.

Greensboro jumped out to a 3-0 lead, before Allix Kean scored the first goal for Salem. The Pride extended their lead to 5-1 before Collette Vladimery made it 5-2. Greensboro scored the next 11 goals before the end of the half. The Pride extended their lead to 19-2 in the second half before Logan Bowling scored the final goal for the Spirits. 

Hannah Ostlund finished with 13 saves. Kean and Hannah Bullock each had 2 ground balls. Bullock also led the team with 2 draw controls. 

Salem will travel to Meredith on Tuesday for their last road match of the regular season.
