FAYETTEVILLE, NC — The Methodist Monarchs prevailed over the visiting Salem Spirits, 22-1, Tuesday afternoon.
With Methodist (4-7-0) having one of its best games of the season, the Monarchs outshot Salem 34-5, and they won 19 faceoffs compared to Salem's 4.
The Spirits' (1-13-0) single goal of the game came from Teia Horton late in the first half.
