Soccer improves to 11-1-1 with win at Agnes Scott

Decatur, GA-The Salem College soccer team won at Agnes Scott today 4-1. The Spirits started their scoring early to take the road win. Brooke Bukas had a goal and two assists. Salem improves to 11-1-1 overall and 7-1-1 in the USA South, while Agnes Scott falls to 4-6-1. 

Martha Santos scored in the 4th minute on an assist by Bukas. The Spirits did not score the rest of the half. They got the scoring early in the second half, when Maddie Crumpton finished a Bukas pass in the 48th minute. Bukas scored 6 minutes later on a pass from Chaniece Moss, while Sydney Priest finished the scoring in the 68th minute off of a corner kick by Alyssa Denkovich

Agnes Scott got a goal back in the 88th minute. Hannah Wagner earned the win in goal. Salem held a 34-7 shot advantage and 5-0 corner kick advantage.

Salem plays at Wesleyan tomorrow at 1:00.
