Bukas and Canepa earns NSCAA All-South Atlantic Honors

Kansas City, MO-Morgan Canepa and Brooke Bukas were selected to the NSCAA NCAA Division III All South Atlantic soccer team after helping Salem College to an 18-2-1 season and a USA South Regular Season Title and tournament runner-ups. Canepa earns her third all-region honor, while Bukas earns her first.

Canepa, a senior defender, becomes just the second Salem College student-athlete to be awarded with multiple years of all-region honors as she earns her third straight year. Canepa helped lead Salem to a league leading .42 goals against per game average on the defensive line. She was a four year all-conference selection.

Bukas had a stellar year as she finished with 10 goals and 5 assists for 25 points. Bukas was selected as the USA South Player of the Year in the Spirits first year in their new conference. The USA South has sixteen colleges. She also was selected to the USA South First Team and to the North Carolina All-State First Team.
