JUNIOR (2019): Capped off the season as by tying senior Courtney Chaplin for the team’s lead in goals (six), assists (five) and total points (17), while attempting 55 shots (33 shots on goal) along the way … started in 13 of the 16 matches in which she played, including a string of 10 straight to start the slate … opened the season with a goal and an assist in the 2-1 downing of Bob Jones (Aug. 31) … followed with four shots against Guilford (Sept. 4) … took five shots, scoring one goal and handed out three assists, in a 5-4 win at Covenant (Sept. 7) … found the back of the net for her third goal of the season at Brevard (Sept. 17), while taking six shots in the victory … took five shots against Ferrum (Sept. 22) … attempted six shots, scoring one goal, in a 3-0 decision against Meredith (Oct. 1) … made three shots at N.C. Wesleyan (Oct. 12) … attempted 10 shots in the first two-goal match of her career, which resulted in a 2-1 victory against William Peace (Oct. 15) … had four shots each in matches against Piedmont International (Oct. 17), which also resulted in an assist, and Methodist (Oct. 23).

SOPHOMORE (2018): Tied teammate Maddie Crumpton for most goals (six), while adding three assists (15 points) … attempted 73 shots and 38 shots on goal, both team high’s … scored her first goal of the season, along with contributing an assist, in a 2-1 win over Bob Jones (Sept. 4) as she made seven shots … came through with goals against Brevard (Sept. 18) and N.C. Wesleyan (Sept. 22) as she combined for nine shots in those two matches … handed out assists in consecutive contests against Covenant (Sept. 29) and Meredith (Sept. 30), making a combined 11 shots in those matches … posted her fourth goal of the slate against N.C. Wesleyan (Oct. 6) as Salem posted a 3-2 win … played a key role in a 3-2 win over Methodist (Oct. 10) … notched her final goal of the season against Pfeiffer (Oct. 17).

FIRST YEAR (2017): Started 11 of the 16 matches in which she played, notching five goals (10 points), while making 34 shots and 25 shots on goal … exploded for three goals (six points) on five shots in a 5-0 victory over Blackburn (Sept. 2) … had a pair of shots against Eastern Mennonite (Sept. 10) … emerged with six shots in a 2-1 win at Waynesburg (Sept. 23) … finished with two shots at Methodist (Sept. 27) … helped Salem earn a 3-0 win over Greensboro (Sept. 30) with a goal on two shots … took four shots at Meredith (Oct. 7) … tallied her final goal of the season against Averett (Oct. 18), making four shots on goal … closed out the season with five shots in a setback to Methodist (Oct. 28).

PREP: Graduated from A.C. Reynolds High School in 2017 … a four-year varsity letterwinner … served as team captain … captured the North Carolina High School Athletic Association State Championship.

PERSONAL: Elle Montes … daughter of Shannon McKay and Boyd Burrell … born January 21, 1998 … member of A Honor Roll all four years … played Club Soccer for HFC since the age of five.
