Salem Spirits Step Out of Conference Play to Take On Guilford College

GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Salem women's volleyball traveled to Greensboro for a non-conference match at Guilford College. The Spirits are now 9-10 overall and 7-4 in conference.

The offensive strength was not enough to lead the Spirits for a win in the five set match over the Quakers of Guilford College. The offensive was led by Junior Taylor Moulton with 15 kills while rookie Olivia Henderson had a season high kills of 7 finishing with a hitting percentage of .636. Overall the Spirits had a team hitting percentage of .200. Three players helped cover the defense with double digit digs on the night. Taylor MoultonCorrin Shores and Alexis Sunderland had 15, 15 and 16 digs respectively.
