CENTRAL, S.C. – A series of thunderstorms in Upstate South Carolina, near Southern Wesleyan University, forced the cancellation of the Warrior Cross Country Invitational on Friday, Sept. 13.

A combination of lightning strikes and tornado warnings in the area forced the cancellation of Salem's second cross country meet of the slate.
