2024 Athletic Banquet Photos
The Salem Department of Athletics capped off its 2023-24 athletic season with a banquet held in Varsity Gym, located on the Salem Campus, on Thursday, April 25th. The banquet honored the student-athletes for their individual contributions over the course of the year.
Honored by each of the six head coaches, student-athletes were recognized for their contributions, impact and overall influence on their respective programs at the ceremony. The award winners are noted below:

The Jess Byrd Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award was established in 1984 to honor a distinguished professor, Jess Byrd, and to recognize a graduating senior who has attained a strong academic record and exhibited qualities of sportsmanship, athletic ability, and leadership.
Scholar-Athlete of the Year | Anna Rymer
The Scholar Athlete of the Year Award is awarded to the sophomore, junior, or senior letter-winner with the highest cumulative grade point average who has attended Salem for a minimum of two full-time semesters.
