Salem College

Ryan Carriker joined the athletic department staff at Salem with a long history of coaching at the collegiate, travel, school and recreation levels. He helped lead the Marlboro Academy Dragons to two state championships in the South Carolina Independent School Association AA division, as well as multiple preseason and regional titles. Carriker also has led several travel organizations and currently coaches a team for the Carolina Cardinals.

A native of Rockingham, N.C., Carriker is a longtime National Fastpitch Coaches Association member, who has conducted many combines, camps and recruiting seminars. His most recent tenure was with Guilford College, where served as an outfield specialist and assisted in developing the culture of the team.

Currently, Carriker resides in Hoffman, N.C., on a farm with his wife and son. His daughter plays softball at UNC Pembroke.
