GRADUATE SENIOR (2023-24): Put together the sixth-best scoring season (411 points) in program history as she became the fourth different Spirit to reach the 1,000-point mark in their career … averaged 16.4 points per contest after knocking down 147-of-372 (.395) from the floor, 100-of-136 (.735) at the free throw line and 17-of-68 from beyond the arc … handed out the second-most assists (66) on the unit and ranked second in total rebounds (107) along the way … closed out her career by ranking in the Top-15 of 15 statistical categories including: games started (76-2nd), field goals attempted (1112-2nd), free throws made (267-2nd), assists (223-2nd), steals (212-2nd), minutes played (2774-3rd), field goals made (378-4th), free throws attempted (370-4th), games played (94-5th), 3-point field goals attempted (273-6th), 3-point field goals made (63-t-6th), free throw percentage (.772-9th), points per game (11.6-10th), defensive rebounds (235-11th), total rebounds (330-12th) … opened the 2023-24 campaign with eight consecutive double-digit scoring performances, including a 13-point outing in the opener as Salem defeated Warren Wilson (Nov. 14) … after helping Salem to the first 5-0 start in program history, Sampson finished 8-of-17 from the floor, converting three 3-pointers, along with 6-of-8 at the charity stripe in a 25-point effort against Brevard in the USA South Conference opener … enjoyed a 21-point, four-rebound outing at Ferrum (Dec. 15), finishing 8-of-17 from the floor and 3-of-6 from the arc … rebounded from a tough six-point outing versus Montreat to close with 11 in a clash with N.C. Wesleyan (Jan. 3) … notched a single-game season-high 27 points, finishing 9-of-14 from the floor and 8-of-9 at the free throw line in the process, in a decisive triumph over Greensboro (Jan. 6) … converted 10-of-11 at the free throw line while knocking down 7-of-18 from the field to go along with six assists in a 24-point performance versus William Peace (Jan. 10) … delivered 22 points, finishing 8-of-14 from the floor, along with five rebounds and four assists against Meredith (Jan. 23) … tallied 19 points and seven rebounds in a league clash with Greensboro (Jan. 27) … efficient in a clash with Methodist (Jan. 30), closing with 19 points after hitting 6-of-11 and 3-of-3 at the free throw line, while grabbing seven rebounds and forcing six steals … scored the 1,000th-point of her career in a 10-point outing at Varsity Gym against Pfeiffer (Feb. 2) … came through with her sixth 20-point outing (24 points) of the season in a 70-62 win over Mary Baldwin (Feb. 3) by virtue of hitting eight field goals, three 3-piinters and 5-of-8 at the free throw line … wrapped up her final game at Varsity Gym with 18 points, after hitting 7-of-19 from the floor and 2-of-4 from beyond the arc, against William Peace (Feb. 10) … moved her double-digit scoring streak to 16 straight games with 12 points against Mary Baldwin (Feb. 14) and 14 versus Brevard (Feb. 17) … capped off season by becoming the third different Spirit to earn All-Conference (second team) honors from the USA South Conference since Salem joined the league in 2016, joining Mikayla Seivers and Sabrina Shepherd as the only three players in program history to be distinguished with the honor.

SENIOR (2022-23): Led all Salem players in scoring with 306 points (13.3 ppg), after hitting 97-of-231 from the floor … connected on 16-of-65 3-pointers and knocked down the most free throws (96-140) with the highest free throw percentage (68.6%) of anyone on the roster … topped all Salem guards with 63 assists … active defender with 93 rebounds (64 defensive) and 57 steals for the Spirits … Sampson closed out her Salem career with 675 points (7th-most), 231 field goals (9th-most), 222 rebounds, 167 made free throws (7th-most), 157 assists (4th-most) and 147 steals (4th-most) … she capped off her Salem career by reaching double-digit points on 32 occasions in three seasons … is one of just five players in program history to score 600 points, grab 200 rebounds, hand out 100 assists and force 100 steals … reached the double-digit scoring mark in 20 of 23 games, eclipsing double figures in a nine-game and seven-game stretch over the course of the season … opened the slate with back-to-back 12-point outings versus Warren Wilson (Nov. 8) and Randolph (Nov. 12) … began a seven-game double-digit scoring stretch, which spanned from November 22 through January 4 with 11 points against Methodist (Nov. 22) … her best scoring performance of the seven-game stretch came against Johnson & Wales (Dec. 17), where she tallied 16 points and hit 6-of-13 from the floor … rebounded from a nine-point outing against Greensboro (Jan. 7) to reach double digits in nine straight games from January 10 through February 11 … notched a pair of 20-point contests in her nine-game outburst, which came against Mary Baldwin (Jan. 25 / 22 pts) and a single-game season-high 24 points in an 84-69 victory over Meredith (Feb. 11) … against the Avenging Angels she was 6-of-17 from the floor, 10-of-11 at the free throw line and converted two free throws … closed out the final game of the season with a 21-point showing against eventual USA South Conference Champion Greensboro (Feb. 21) in the first round of the league tournament.

SOPHOMORE (2021-22): One of only three players (Savanah Atkins, Cree Bass) to play in all 24 games for Salem …among the top performers on the Spirits during the 2021-22 season, finishing in the Top-5 in steals (55-1st), free throw percentage (77.2-1st), points (221-2nd), field goals made (79-2nd), 3-point field goals (19-2nd), free throws (44-2nd) and assists (42-2nd) over the course of the slate … capped off a solid campaign against USA South Conference foes by ranking in the Top-5 in field goals (60-t-1st), steals (46-1st), points (165-2nd), 3-point field goals (13-2nd), free throws made (32-2nd) and assists (39-2nd) … finished the season with multiple steals in 12 contests … had five steals on two occasions (vs. Meredith {Jan. 29}/ vs. Averett {Feb. 5}) as well as a six-steal outing in a clash with Mary Baldwin (Feb. 9) … opened the season by scoring nine points over 24 minutes at Randolph (Nov. 10) … reached double figures for the first of eight times against Virginia Wesleyan (Nov. 13), closing with 10 points after hitting 4-of-8 from the floor … emerged with 19 points, hitting 5-of-13 from the floor, at Ferrum (Dec. 15) ... had the first of four double-digit point performances in January, closing with 10 (3-10 / 4-4 FTs) in a clash with N.C. Wesleyan (Jan. 4) … netted 14 points, hitting five field goals along the way, against William Peace (Jan. 7) … capped off a 74-61 win over Meredith (Jan. 19) with 19 points, hitting seven field goals and three 3-pointers along the way … responsible for 16 points, by virtue of five field goals and two 3-pointers, against Averett (Feb. 5) … was the catalyst for a Salem offense that had five players reach double figures in a 92-83 overtime win over William Peace (Feb. 12) … became the first player since Tyler Davenport (Feb. 4, 2018) to eclipse the 30-point mark for Salem and just the seventh player in the NCAA history of the program with a 30-point outing … not only established a career-high in points, versus the Pacers, but she also set her career-high and program record in steals (12), capping off her first double-double and joining Tyler Davenport and Tamsi Echendu as the only players in 2021-22 to record a double-double … finished 13-of-24 (54.2%) from the floor in her performance, knocking down 3-of-8 from beyond the arc.

FIRST YEAR (2019-20): Was one of five Spirits with at least 100 points on the season, finishing with 148 … knocked down 55-of-177 from the floor, while hitting 11-of-61 from 3-point range … converted a team-best 73 percent (27-of-37) from the free throw line … emerged with 65 rebounds (54 defensive) and was second on the unit in assists (52) … anchored the Salem defense with a team-best 35 steals … opened her collegiate career with six assists, four points and four steals against Piedmont International (Nov. 13) … scored a single-game season-high 17 points, hitting 7-of-13 from the floor, in a clash with Johnson & Wales (Nov. 20) … tallied 10 points, by virtue of hitting five field goals, against Clinton (Nov. 23) … came through with five points, five assists, five steals and three rebounds against Randolph (Nov. 26) … emerged with 13 points, after hitting 6-of-16 from the field, along with six assists against Pfeiffer (Dec. 6) … ended a USA South Conference game against Meredith (Jan. 4) with 13 points, converting 5-of-8 from the floor, while handing out four assists … capped off a meeting with Mary Baldwin (Jan. 1) with seven points … climbed the glass for seven rebounds and scored seven points in a clash with Methodist (Jan. 28) … tallied 10 points, hitting 3-of-5 from the floor, to go along with four steals at William Peace (Feb. 1) … closed out a meeting with N.C. Wesleyan (Feb. 2) with eight points and six rebounds … finished with six rebounds (four defensive) and five points at Piedmont International (Feb. 8) … ended the season with a 16-point outing at Averett, converting 6-of-11 from the floor and 3-of-3 at the free throw line.

PREP: Graduated from The Burlington School in 2019 … a four-year letterwinner in basketball … instrumental part of the 2019 unit that captured the Mid-Carolina Conference Championship and North Carolina Independent School Athletic Association 1A State Championship … named Third Team All-Conference at the conclusion of the 2017-18 season … named All-Conference after the 2018-19 season … recognized as Mid-Carolina Conference All-Tournament performer in 2019 … recognized as Sheetz Holiday Christmas Classic All-Tournament performer in 2018 … honored as Most Improved by her team in 2018-19 … participated in the 2019 North Carolina Private School All-Star Game … played under the direction of coaches Tavores Vanhook, Porsha Graves and Jerry Haith.
