Panther Field | LaGrange, Ga.

Salem at Agnes Scott | Saturday, September 18th | 1:00 p.m.
Gellerstedt Field | Decatur, Ga.

LAST TIME OUT
Salem senior netminder Jordan Tomberlin converted 11 saves throughout the course of the match against Randolph, but it was a penalty kick by Alana Ellis in the 88th minute, following a handball, that proved to be the difference as the visiting WildCats escaped with a 1-0 win at Varsity Field on Wednesday, September 14.

IN SEARCH OF CONSECUTIVE ROAD VICTORIES
The Spirits make their first trip to the Peach State since 2019 when they played both Covenant and Agnes Scott on September 7th and 8th, respectively.

Salem enters this weekend with a 1-1 mark away from Varsity Field, claiming the victory against Regent by a 9-0 margin on September 3rd.

The last time that Salem claimed consecutive road wins was in October 2019, when it defeated N.C. Wesleyan (3-1) on October 12th and followed with a 1-0 overtime triumph at Methodist in Fayetteville, N.C., 11 days later.

SALEM vs. LaGRANGE
The Spirits are a perfect 5-0-0 in their all-time series with LaGrange, owning a 3-0-0 record when the two square off in LaGrange, Ga.

The last time they faced off was also in Georgia, with Salem emerging by a 3-0 margin on October 15, 2016. Salem also claimed a 10-0 victory against the Panthers earlier that month at Varsity Field.

The Panthers have managed just two goals in the all-time series, while Salem is outscoring its opponent 25-2 and emerged with three shutouts.

LaGrange is led in scoring by freshman Kaia King, who has netted two goals and a team-best two assists. With six points to her credit, King has one more assist than the trio of Kirsten Captino, Madison Drobisch and Nikki Longmoore.

Leila Moss tops the Panthers among goalkeepers with 14, coming through with a .875 save percentage. She shares a shutout win over Toccoa Falls with Ria Mau.

SALEM vs. AGNES SCOTT
Salem and Agnes Scott shared the common connection of being members of both the Great South Athletic Conference and USA South Athletic Conference, resulting in 18 all-time meetings between the two programs entering this weekend.

The Spirits hold a distinctive 15-2-1 advantage in the all-time series and are 10-0-1 at Varsity Field. When paying a visit to Decatur, Salem is 5-2-0.

The last time that the two units met in Decatur, Ga., the Scotties snapped a five-match losing streak in the series to Salem by claiming a 3-2 victory. Salem has outscored the Scotties by an 18-7 margin in its seven matches in Georgia.

Agnes Scott will begin the weekend with a match at Warren Wilson before returning home to host the Spirits.

In three contests, Marilyn Bates and Peighton Freeman lead the Scotties in scoring with two goals apiece, while Ryleigh Bennett has as team-high two assists. Ashley Kopczyk tops the unit in saves (17), while Lilly Odhner is responsible for the only victory in net, logging 90 minutes along the way.
