MEET-BY-MEET/PERSONAL BESTS

FIRST YEAR: Competed in two meets for the Spirits during the course of the season, earning four Top-10 finishes and three Top-3 individual finishes along the way … made her collegiate debut at the Greensboro Dual (Oct. 30), competing in four events, where she earned second in both the 100 breaststroke (1:41.37) and 100 individual medley (1:49.66), third in the 50 breaststroke (44.45) and seventh in the 100 freestyle (1:47.69) … followed that by taking part in the Guilford Invitational (Nov. 6), earning a Top-50 finish in the 100 breaststroke (1:41.33/45th), while also competing in the 200 freestyle (3:42.00/64th), 50 freestyle (42.85/84th) and 100 freestyle (1:32.75/99th) … joined Salem teammates Abigail Hawkins, Allison Wakefield and Olivia Nivens in the 200 medley relay (2:48.39), leading the Spirits to a 19th-place finish.

Graduated from Carrboro High School in 2021 … a multi-sport athlete that competes in cross country (2017-20), track and field (2017-19), indoor track (2019-20) and swimming (2017-19) during the course of her career … her track and cross country coach at Carrboro was Mimi O’Grady … swam for the Jaguars’ swim team under the direction of Julie Neal … received the Iron Jaguar Award three consecutive seasons (2017-18, 2018-19, 2019-20) by virtue of competing in the four aforementioned sports … qualified for conference meets in each of the sports that she competed.
