RALEIGH, N.C. – The Salem swim team wrapped up its two-day stint at the William Peace Invitational with a pair of Top-50 performances by teammates Scarlett Urbaez (37th) and Kylie Clark (38th).
Urbaez posted the top finish of the event for Salem in the 500 freestyle, after touching the wall in a time of 9:46.14.
Clark earned her 38th-place finish in the 50 freestyle, which included all three Salem participants. Clark touched the wall in 36.69, while Urbaez posted a 54th-place finish in 37.52. Elenaore Regenthal was third on the Salem team, finishing 56th, with a mark of 41.80.
Salem will host its first meet of the season on Saturday, December 3rd, which includes Hollins and Ferrum. The meet is scheduled for 2 p.m.
