FIRST YEAR (2022): A constant in the lineup for head coach Ed Steele, posting a 3-10 mark in singles play on the season, including a 3-8 mark in the 2022 regular season … earned two of her three victories as the Spirits’ No. 2 seed versus USA South opposition … was paired with both Alyssa Cosentino (one match) and Haley Gilley (11 matches) during the slate … made her spring debut against Amelia Shaw (Hollins) as the Spirits’ No. 2 singles, suffering a 6-4, 2-6, 5-10 setback … notched her first singles victory on April 9th when she helped Salem defeat USA South Conference rival Greensboro by posting a 6-1, 6-1 singles victory over Natalie Habich … earned her second April victory against Eboni Montague (Johnson & Wales) in three-set fashion (1-6, 6-3, 10-6) on April 21st … emerged with a 6-2, 6-2 victory on April 22nd against Alexis Seymore (Mary Baldwin) … teamed with Haley Gilley to earn four doubles victories, all as the No. 1 seed, including a 8-0 win against Hannah Stokes/Miranda Montes (Johnson & Wales) … posted an 8-3 win, alongside Gilley, over the tandem of Jada Ore/Natalie Habich (Greensboro) on April 9th … picked up two doubles victories in the final week of the season, downing Maira Teurel/Eboni Montague (Johnson & Wales) by an 8-1 margin … followed that by pairing with Gilley on April 22nd, earning an 8-4 victory against Gretchen Lutz/Hannah Eastridge (Mary Baldwin) on April 22nd.
