SENIOR (2024): Played in one game, where she appeared in the outfield for Senior Day versus William Peace (April 20), for one pitch … sustained an injury which kept her from playing throughout the course of the season.

JUNIOR (2023): Appeared in 20 games, making 19 starts along the way, before having her season end prematurely with a hip injury … capped off the campaign with eight hits and six runs, while driving in five RBI for the Spirits … responsible for two sacrifice bunts on the slate, second-most on the team to Kat Price’s seven … utilized her speed to swipe three bases, tying her with Savanah Atkins for third-most on the team … connected on a single in her first collegiate game, which came against Averett (Feb. 18), resulting in one run scored … had her best stretch of the season against Livingstone (March 20) and Brevard (March 26) … had a four-game hitting streak that began with a 1-for-1 outing in a 13-5 victory in the first game of the series with Livingstone ... helped Salem complete the sweep of the Blue Bears, finishing 1-for-2 with three runs scored, along with a stolen base, in the night cap … hitting seventh in the first game of the series with Brevard, Pinnix helped the bottom third of the Salem order manufacture five of the six runs by going 1-for-3 at the plate with two runs scored … capped off her week with a 2-for-3 outing in game two of the series with the Tornados, joining teammate Savanah Atkins as the only Salem slugger in the game with two hits … those performances earned her USA South Rookie of the Week honors, the third Spirit to earn the honor in program history … posted her final hits of the season, finishing 2-for-4 with a pair of RBI, in a clash with Mary Baldwin (April 5).

PREP: Graduated from Reagan High School in 2020 … a two-time letterwinner in softball for the Raiders, playing under the direction of head coach Ely Cummis in 2016 and 2017.

PERSONAL: Jessica Leigh Pinnix … daughter of Allison and Randy Pinnix … born on October 15, 2002 … has two siblings, Ashleigh and Ryleigh … active member of American Sign Language (ASL) Club.
