THE GAME

RALEIGH — Salem's developing lacrosse team got a chance to learn a lot by playing the Top-20-ranked Avenging Angels Wednesday, but the Spirits fell 22-0 in a make-up game that was moved to Raleigh because of soggy field conditions.

"Having the chance to compete and learn from a Top-20 team allows us the opportunity to elevate our game and build on our successes," Salem Interim Head Lacrosse Coach Emma Rose said.
