Andrea Baldwin and Brittany Tedrick combined in goal for the shutout. Baldwin recorded 3 saves and Tedrick had 6 saves. Sherry Revels allowed all three goals against Peace, and recorded 15 saves.

"I was glad to see us get an early lead, so that we could rest some players who are injured," said Salem Head Coach Jay Callahan. "We have three tough matches over the next week that we need everybody healthy for."

Salem is on the road again on September 7 as they head to Shenandoah University in Virginia.
