Salem Spirits Teach Clinic for Twin City Youth Soccer Association

Members of current team use the spring to coach area youth

The Salem College Soccer Team directed a clinic for Twin City Youth Soccer Association girl’s teams on Thursday, May 1. The clinic was held at Jefferson Middle School and consisted of six and seven-year-olds.

The hour-long session was formatted into four stations that taught dribbling techniques, and was finished with small-sided play. Twin City is the premier youth soccer association for Forsyth County and surrounding areas.

Throughout the spring, several members of the soccer program have coached area youth teams in Forsyth and Davidson Counties.  Head Coach Jay Callahan looks forward to developing a strong relationship with Twin City and other youth programs in the future.
