Macon, GA- Salem College finished their Georgia road trip with an impressive 7-0 victory over Wesleyan College of Georgia Sunday afternoon. Salem dominated the entire game as they out shot the Pioneers 45-1. Salem College raised their record to 13-1-2 for the season while Wesleyan College fell to 1-11-0.

Tara Madden (FY, Greenville, SC) and Tori Collier (So., Raleigh, NC) led the Spirits with two goals each. Michala Michaux (So., Morganton, NC), Amber Bryant (FY, Jonesville, NC) and Courtney Sauer (FY, Carthage, NC) added a goal towards the victory. Kim Wisen (FY, Madison, OH), Tara Madden and Michala Michaux each had an assist.

Andrea Baldwin (FY, Hudson, NC) played the first 20 minutes of the game in the goal. Brittany Tedrick (FY, Bativia, OH) played the final 70 minutes for the Spirits and recorded the lone save of the day. This was the ninth shutout of the season for the Spirit’s goalkeepers.
