Canyon High's Khouri commits to play soccer at Salem

Winston-Salem, NC-The Salem College soccer program is excited to announce the addition of Cassy Khouri who committed to attend Salem next fall. Khouri played goalie for several club teams in Santa Clarita, CA. 

Khouri most recently played goalie for the California Stars Premier and was coached by Casey Bridges. She was her club team's captain her junior season when she played for the Santa Clarita Chaos and was coached by Andy Pringle and David Vaudreuil. Khouri was also the athlete of the month at Canyon High for her work on their track team.

Khouri spent time coaching in the Cal South Soccer program with youth teams. She was a member of Canyon High's National Honor Society, Book Club, Student Task Force, and she made the honor roll six different times in high school. Khouri plans to major in biology while at Salem. She is the daughter of Wendy Dagenais, and was also helped out a lot by her grandparents, Della and Bob Dagenais. 

Salem College is a NCAA Division III institution located in Winston-Salem, NC. Salem is the oldest educational institution for women in the United States, and was founded in 1772. The institution boasts a proud history of fostering independence in women. Salem was recently ranked number 67 in Forbes magazines second annual ranking of America's 600 best colleges, and as Forbes' number fourteen in their "America's Best College Buys" Top 100.
