Northeast Guilford's Saganich commits to play soccer at Salem College

Winston-Salem, NC-The Salem College soccer program is excited to announce the addition of Alexi Saganich who committed to attend Salem next fall. Saganich had a very strong four years as a midfielder and forward for Coach Jim Pielow at Northeast Guilford High School in McLeansville, NC.

Saganich was a four-time Mid-Piedmont All-Conference selection at Northeast. She was selected to the North Carolina Soccer Coaches Association All-Region 8 team as a junior. Saganich also was awarded as the team most valuable player and to the All Area Second-Team her junior year. As a senior, Saganich was recently selected to participate in the 2010 North Carolina High School East-West All Star game, which will be held in July. She is the daughter of Christa and Jon Saganich. 

Salem College is an NCAA Division III institution located in Winston-Salem, NC. Salem is the oldest educational institution for women in the United States, and was founded in 1772. The institution boasts a proud history of fostering independence in women. Salem was recently ranked number 67 in Forbes magazines second annual ranking of America's 600 best colleges, and as Forbes' number fourteen in their "America's Best College Buys" Top 100.
