Soccer loses in overtime against Bryn Mawr

Winston-Salem, NC- The Salem College soccer team lost in overtime of the Salem Classic Championship 2-1 against Bryn Mawr. Kim Wisen (Madison, OH) scored Salem's goal with ten minutes left in regulation to tie the score at one. Salem drops to 3-1-1, while Bryn Mawr improves to 4-1-1. 

Bryn Mawr took the lead in the 36th minute off of a long shot by Jillian Forde. Wisen would tie the score in the 80th minute at one on a direct kick. Veronika Mohr scored the game winning goal with only 14 seconds remaining in the first overtime. Salem outshot Bryn Mawr 20-18, and had 5 corners to Bryn Mawr's two corners.

Salem returns to action this Wednesday at 4:30 when they host Averett University.
