Week 1 Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week - freshman Kamila Nemcova of Spelman College
Nemcova began her collegiate career with a bang, placing first in an 11-team, 72 athlete field. She raced the 5k course at the North Georgia Tech Invitational in a time of 21:07.56 to garner the first place medal and GSAC Runner of the Week status.

Week 1 Volleyball Player of the Week - freshman outside hitter Chelsea Van Dyk of Covenant College
Van Dyk has amassed 92 kills, a .389 hitting percentage, 6 block solos and 10 block assists at the outset of her freshman campaign. She's also averaging 3.68 kills per set as the Scots have raced to a 5-2 record on the season en route to her first Player of the Week nod.
