Soccer set to celebrate Thiel and Younger at senior game

Winston-Salem, NC-The Salem College soccer team is set to celebrate 2 seniors Sabrina Thiel (Hillsboro, OH) and Kellie Younger (Manhattan Beach, CA) this Sunday at 1:00. The Spirits will host Georgia Wesleyan in their final regular season match of the year, which is also their senior day.

Thiel is a 2-year captain and 4-year letter winner for the Spirits. She was placed on the Great South All-Freshmen team her first year, and the Great South All-Conference team her sophomore year. She is also a 2-time Great South All-Academic team member. She has started 7 games this season and has 1 goal. She has 10 career goals and 5 career assists.

Younger has seen action in 2 games this season and is a 1-year captain. She is also a 4-year letter winner and a 2-time GSAC All-Academic performer. She scored a goal in a reserve game this season. Younger is also a member of the Equestrian Team at Salem. 

The 2 have compiled a 51-18-3 record so far in their careers at Salem.
