Soccer earns #1 seed for this weekend's GSAC Tournament at Salem

Winston-Salem, NC-After completing a 13-3-2 season, the Salem College soccer team has earned the #1 seed for this weekend's Great South Soccer Tournament. For the first time ever, the tournament will be held at Salem College, with a right to go to the NCAA DIII National Tournament on the line. 

Salem finished the season with a 5-0 conference record, and they won their second straight Great South Regular Season Championship. They will play the winner of Friday's match between Maine Presque-Isle and Mills from California in the semifinals on Saturday at 12:30. If Salem wins that game, they will advance to the championship on Sunday at 12:00. Other teams participating in the tournament are Agnes Scott, Finlandia, Trinity Washington, and Wesleyan.
