Soccer falls to Berry in non-conference play

Winston-Salem, NC-The Salem College soccer team allowed more than two goals for the first time in 2013 as they fell 4-1 to Berry in non-conference play. Salem falls to 5-3-2, while Berry improves to 7-2.

Playing in their 3rd game in 5 days, Salem fell behind 2-0 in the 1st half. The two teams played evenly in the 2nd half, and Berry scored two goals against the run of play. Tarryn Bundy (West Deptford, NJ) scored late in the 2nd half. Berry out-shot Salem 23-15.

Salem returns to the road this weekend as they take on NCAA DII Chowan and GSAC opponent Trinity Washington.
