MEET-BY-MEET / PERSONAL BEST RESULTS

FIRST-YEAR (2023-24): Competed in two meets during the course of the 2023-24 season … made her collegiate debut at a dual that featured Greensboro and Guilford on October 23rd, competing in three individual events and one relay event along the way … among the three individual events that she competed in at the Greensboro / Guilford dual were the 50 freestyle (50.62), 100 backstroke (2:06.34) and 100 freestyle (1:54.10) ... raced alongside Omega Pinnix, Daja Jones and Sara Vargas in the 400 medley relay, posting a time of 4:48.26 and established a program record in the event … traveled with the team to the William Peace Invitational in November, where she took part in three individual events as well as a relay … capped off the William Peace Invitational by participating in the 200 backstroke (4:19.67), 200 freestyle (3:46.26) and 500 freestyle (10:12.13) teamed with Marabeth Huffman, Vargas and Pinnix in the 400 medley relay to post a time of 4:48.26.

PREP: Graduated from R.J. Reynolds High School in 2021 … did not compete in any sports over the course of her prep career.

PERSONAL: Rama Munzer Alsakhita … daughter of Hiam Saad Aldin and Munzer Alsakhita … born on January 1, 2004 in Syria … has two siblings, Nour and Farah … recognized as Student of the Year in Chemistry as a junior at R.J. Reynolds High School.
