Winston-Salem, NC- Methodist University squeaked past the Salem College Spirits Friday evening by the scores of 30-22, 30-28 and 32-30. Salem (0-8) played their best volleyball of the season against the Monarchs (5-5) exciting the crowd with every point and close call. Whitney Sorenson (Glendale, AZ), Christie Tillman (King, NC) and Katie Lineberger (Maiden, NC) led the Spirits with 12 kills each.
