Salem Announces New Volleyball Coach

Winston-Salem, NC  – Director of Athletics Kim Fierke has announced that Amanda Hilliard-Ziemba has accepted the position of Head Volleyball Coach at Salem College.  Hilliard-Ziemba will join the Salem College athletic staff immediately.

 
Hilliard-Ziemba received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Mount Olive College in 1999. While at Mount Olive College, Hilliard-Ziemba was a four year starter, team captain, and a two-time Academic All-American (1997, 1998). She holds Mount Olive’s team record for most service aces in a game (12). In 1997, Hilliard-Ziemba helped Mount Olive College win the conference championship. 

 

Hilliard-Ziemba earned her Doctor of Chiropractic from Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic in 2004. She was previously a member of the Eastern Randolph High School coaching staff and has coached Junior Olympics. Hilliard-Ziemba is currently working toward her masters in leadership in higher education from Capella University.
